A few things could derail the Cleveland Browns 2022 season. The possible Deshaun Watson suspension heads the list for obvious reasons. The prolonged and, seemingly, complicated divorce from Baker Mayfield could have an impact if it lingers as well.
As with most teams, injuries are a constant concern. Last year, the Baltimore Ravens went from first place to last in the AFC North as players went on injured reserve left in right.
What may become a bigger concern for the Browns is as the roster becomes a little top-heavy with highly paid players. Often, this leads to less depth and an even higher priority in keeping players healthy.
In today’s last practice of mandatory minicamp, one of those top-level players left early with a trainer:
Denzel Ward spent the last 5 minutes or so talking to the trainers about an issues. He's walking into the locker room with a trainer. #Browns

Newly signed to a huge extension, Ward has had his fair share of injuries throughout his career. Head coach Kevin Stefanski did not have an update on the injury following practice.
Ward, and the rest of the team, now have about a month and a half off before the start of training camp. The team is not required to provide injury updates during that time so the extent of Ward’s injury may not be known until camp starts.
