Denzel Dumfries' agent, Rafaela Pimenta, has provided a fresh update on his client's future amid interest from Tottenham. The Inter Milan defender has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League for some time now but a switch is yet to materialise.
football.london understands that Antonio Conte has two priorities in the January transfer window; to sign a new attacking player and a right wing-back. It's believed that the north Londoners will be looking at both permanent and loan deals in order to grant the Spurs boss his wish.
Dumfries, who sees his deal at the San Siro expire in 2025, is said to be one of several candidates on Fabio Paratici's radar after impressing for Netherlands at the World Cup. However, according to Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter have given the defender a €60million (£53million) price tag.

Speaking to Rai Sport, as quoted by Calciomercato, Dumfries' agent addressed the speculation regarding his client's future. Pimenta said: "Denzel has played in great World Cups.
"I think Inter are happy [with him]. Today, he is an Inter player, he has the Nerazzurri colours in his heart. Then we'll see what happens."
With Tottenham in the market for a new right wing-back, the north Londoners have been urged to sign Dumfries - a player who William Gallas believes that Conte needs. Speaking to Genting Casino, the former Chelsea and Arsenal defender said: "I don't know why Spurs can't fix their problems at right-wing back.
"I've watched Denzel Dumfries in the last few Netherlands games and I believe he is one that Tottenham need. Dumfries is very strong, he can defend, he can attack, can get a lot of assists. Spurs are struggling with the left-side of the defence too, Daniel Levy will need to sign a top class player."
Tottenham have been heavily linked with a number of other right wing-backs too. football.london understands that Paratici likes Monaco star Vanderson, with the 21-year-old able to play on the right-hand side.
Sporting star Pedro Porro and Lyon starlet Malo Gusto have also reportedly caught Spurs' attention recently. Though, for now, it remains to be seen whether or not Tottenham launch a move to sign a new right-sided defender.
