Denver Broncos fans are waiting and hoping for the best after wide receiver Tim Patrick was taken off the practice field on a cart after suffering a non-contact injury at practice on Tuesday.
According to Brandon Krisztal, who covers the Broncos for KOA 850 AM in Colorado, Patrick went down after making a catch in a team drill:
after a great grab in a team drill, WR Tim Patrick went down without any contact from the defender.

He was then taken off the field on a cart:

Patrick played in 16 games for the Broncos last season, catching 53 passes for 734 yards and five touchdowns. He was second on the team in receptions and receiving yardage, and his five touchdown receptions led the Broncos.
While in college at the University of Utah, he suffered a compound fracture to his left leg, and missed 17 games over the course of his college career.
