Denver Broncos: 5 players to scout in 2023 CFP national championship game

The Denver Broncos’ 2023 campaign has came to an end and preparation for the 2024 season by head coach Sean Payton and his staff began almost immediately after the final snap at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday.

One of the last chances the staff has to see college players in live-game action is the College Football Playoff National Championship game on Monday night.

Many NFL draft classes feature top prospects from the national champions and runners-up. The Broncos, after missing the playoffs for the eighth season since Peyton Manning led them to a Super Bowl victory, find themselves in need of elite college talent with limited draft resources (six picks as of today).

The biggest focus for Denver may be the quarterback position following the benching of veteran Russell Wilson, but they could also use some assistance in the wide receiver room and on the defensive line.

Here’s a quick list of five prospects from Monday night’s championship game to keep an eye on.
