Dennis Hogan made it two wins in a row this morning after he scored a victory over Wade Ryan in Brisbane, Australia.
The Kildare boxer was back in action down under as he took on the Australian on the undercard of Nikita Tszyu's professional debut.
Hogan was in the ring at 10.30 am Irish time and eased to a comfortable unanimous decision victory on the judges scorecards after 12 rounds.
The fight night was almost pulled as floods in the area meant that the show was pushed back 24 hours and switched from the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre to the Nissan Arena.
“I’m just delighted this didn’t get postponed for six weeks,” Hogan said ahead of the fight.
“I’m ready to put on a show.
“If I didn’t get into the ring expecting to win, it wouldn’t be Dennis Hogan.”
Wade Ryan said: “We want to win that IBO world title, we’re one fight away. He’s got his plan, I’ve got mine ... It will be good, tough fight, but we’re going to come away victorious.”
