Denise Welch blasts BBC over 'disgusting' Mizzy interview - as TikTok prankster speaks out

Denice Welch has brutally slammed the BBC, after the news corporation conducted a sit-down interview with TikTok prankster Mizzy. The social media sinner - real name Bacari-Bronze O'Garro - has shot to infamy as of recent after trespassing in people's homes, in a clip previously uploaded to his TikTok.

He was fined for the instance, but has also been accused of a number of other crimes such as pretending to steal a woman's dog, and asking a train passenger: "Do you want to die?" in 'prank' clips. Mizzy has been doing the rounds on television as of recent, firstly appearing on TalkTV before a surprising appearance on Piers Morgan's Uncensored show last week.

But when the 18-year-old was invited to explain his actions on the BBC's Newsnight show, Loose Women star Denise instantly saw red. Taking to Twitter, Denise dubbed a clip of the show - which saw Mizzy apologising for his conduct, before stealing host Kirsty Wark's water - 'disgusting'.

The Mirror reports that she fumed: "Absolutely unbelievable that @BBCNewsnight would promote this creature who openly terrorises people in their own homes!!! I’m doing the same here but to make a point." And her views were met with a mixed response, with one fan penning: "He says it himself, apparently everything I'm doing is bad but you are giving me the platform - I'm on the BBC."

Another, added: "This kid has obviously done wrong, he's apologised etc but think to yourself why these shows are having him on? They're literally exploiting him (technically giving him more exposure so he's winning anyway!) But it goes deeper...manipulating a messed up kid, sad!"

A third meanwhile, suggested: "He's an actor, we're being played, clock the hand signals."

Mizzy appeared on Newsnight wearing an electronic tag, explaining that he was 'accountable for his actions' and apologising to the woman whose dog he took before returning it. He said: "Everyday of my life I've been on social media just documenting my journey. You are just watching my journey right now."

Mizzy also previously detailed how it was easier to do 'hateful stuff', but now believes that he doesn't need to be a 'prankster'. TalkTv host Andre Walker threw the London lad off his show earlier this week, accusing him of giving a fellow guest a 'threatening look'.

The TikToker, who has since been banned from social media, was invited to the TalkTv studio to chat about his rise to fame as 'the UK's biggest prank star'. But things quickly turned sour on set, with Andre taking issue with the way Mizzy was looking at political commentator Reem Ibrahim, when asked if he had encouraged behaviour which could lead to injury.

Pointing the finger at Mizzy, Andre warned: "You can do that to me but you stare at another guest again and I’m going to personally remove you. I’m not taking the mick. You glared at her in a threatening fashion.

"You do that again and I’ll drag you out by the hair and you can be as hard as you pretend you are – apologise to her right now or you’re leaving."

In response, Mizzy turned to Reem, saying: "You know I respect you, but I'm done here," before getting up and leaving the studio, while Andre bellowed: "Good riddance to bad rubbish."
