Denise Van Outen's ex Eddie Boxshall has reflected on their break-up as he praised his former flame to mark International Women's Day.
The DJ, 47, took to his Instagram Stories on Tuesday to share that despite him and Denise, also 47, no longer being together that he commended her for being the "most driven woman in her business".
He also admitted that his seven and a half years relationship with the beauty was "wonderful."
Eddie - who starred on Gogglebox alongside West End star Denise - also praised Denise for being an "amazing mummy" to her 11-year-old daughter Betsy - who she shares with former beau Lee Mead.
In an unexpected move, recently single Eddie uploaded a capture of Essex native Denise on his Instagram Stories and confessed that he is not happy that they are no longer an item.
He penned: "Regardless of us sadly going our separate ways I have to acknowledge that in our wonderful 7 and a Hal year relationship I witnessed the hardest working and most driven woman in her business and amazing mummy to Betsy."
Eddie then finished the post with a string of hashtags: "#Never stops, #Upmostrespect #internationalwomensday."
In January, actress Denise released a short statement confirming she and Eddie were over.
"It saddens me to confirm that we are no longer a couple. I had to make the difficult decision not to continue our relationship," Denise penned on social media.
Following news of the split, rumours have swirled that Denise ended things after discovering a series of messages to other women on Eddie's phone.
A source told The Sun: "Denise is both furiously angry and utterly heartbroken. It’s the very last thing she expected to happen after she had been so happy with Eddie.
"She thought this was for ever. But while she has been out at work he’s been sat in her home betraying her trust.”
The source said the messages were the 'last thing' Denise expected, having been happily settled with Eddie.
"She thought this was forever, but while she's been out at work he's been sat at home betraying her trust," they claimed.
