Denise Van Outen 's ex Eddie Boxshall has hit out at a fan who defended the television star.
Taking to his Instagram earlier this week, Eddie gave fans a glimpse of his day out in East London.
The 48-year-old shared a picture of a street sign for Old Broad Street, a mirror selfie, snaps of buildings as well as a snap of a hotel lobby.
"Old city boy meetings!! #bosh #greattobebackinthesmoke #bighandlittlehand," he captioned the post along with a couple more London-related hashtags.
A fan of Denise took issue with his care-free post and told him that he cheated on 'the prettiest/charismatic/successful and LIKED ladies around,' which got a strong response from him.
She wrote: "(B, In a position to cheat on One of The prettiest/charismic/successful/ LIKED...Ladies around ... Ok!! eddie .. At least!!! Let it f**king drop now' [sic]."
Eddie caught wind of the critical comment and responded: " I'm not even going to block you! I want to hear the vile bile that comes from your mouth."
He later deleted the original comment as well as the reply.
Denise's ex also recently shared a scathing post that hinted at the breakdown of their relationship, which lasted seven years.
The former Celebrity Gogglebox star shared a cryptic quote that read: "Unf**k yourself.
"Be who you were before all the stuff happened that dimmed your f**king shine."
Alongside the quote, Eddie penned: "Be who you were !! #dontchange #getyourshineback."
It comes a few days after Eddie mocked Denise's 'detective skills' as he called her the worst detective in the world after she uncovered his infidelity while using his iPad.
Denise, 47, dumped the former commodities trader when she found out he’d been messaging other women for months behind her back.
