Denise Van Outen has told of the moment she discovered that her ex, Eddie Boxshall, had been cheating on her.
The 47-year-old has written a new book 'A Bit Of Me: From Basildon To Broadway And Back', which details how she found that Eddie had been flirting sexually with three women.
The TV presenter described Eddie's behaviour as "disrespectful and devastatingly hurtful" and said she began to notice red flags when she discovered photos of a woman's breasts on an iPad.
In the book, Denise also goes on to say that there were a number of Instagram messages from another women, reports the Mirror.
She wrote: "Among photos was a screenshot…of a woman’s breasts – and they definitely weren’t mine!
"Also, there was a flirty text exchange between Eddie and this woman, which, of course, set off alarm bells."
Denise, who has starred on the West End and on Broadway, said that she discovered the messages one week when she had just booked a holiday for them in Spain.
Denise then discovered that Eddie had taken selfies with a woman one day he was in London as well as the suggestion of 'phone sex' with another woman named Tracy.
Wanting to find out the truth behind the messages, Denise said that she actually got in touch with Tracy who admitted that despite never meeting Eddie in person, "the conversations had become sexual in nature reasonably quickly".
On discovering the shocking news, Denise confronted Eddie, who denied her allegations, but the couple split as she felt there was no way back for them.
Denise said: "I was in pain and shock. I’d thought we had the perfect life.
"Any relationship has to be built on trust and once that’s gone, there’s no way forward.
"If I hadn’t found those pictures, I’d be planning a wedding right now. Instead, I’ve simply got to move on."
