Denise Van Outen has “fallen hard and fast” for her new boyfriend Jimmy Barba as it’s reported they are planning on moving in together soon.
The pair are currently enjoying their first breakaway to Marbella after they went public last month at the 12th annual Grand Prix Ball in aid of the Global Gift Foundation at The Hurlingham Club, London.
Although it’s early days for the couple, sources have said their romance is going from strength-to-strength and the 48-year-old is considering moving in with Barba.
An insider told MailOnline: “Denise hasn’t been as happy as this in many years. No one makes her laugh like Jimmy does and they’ve become incredibly close very quickly.
“She’s fallen hard and fast and the holiday has been amazing. It’s shown that they love spending as much time together as possible and the next natural step is moving in.”
The Standard has contacted Denise Van Outen’s rep for comment.
Their Spanish breakaway has brought them “even closer” weeks after they were reportedly set up by mutual pal All Saints singer Shaznay Lewis, it has been claimed.
The performer’s new-found happiness comes following her heartbreaking split from her ex-fiancé Eddie Boxhall following a cheating scandal earlier this year.
The former Big Breakfast presenter detailed the break-up in her autobiography A Bit Of Me: From Basildon To Broadway And Back.
In the book, Van Outen wrote she had noticed "red flags" after finding photos of a woman’s breasts on his iPad.
She penned: "Among photos was a screenshot…of a woman’s breasts – and they definitely weren’t mine!
"Also, there was a flirty text exchange between Eddie and this woman, which, of course, set off alarm bells."
She wrote: "I’d thought we had the perfect life. Any relationship has to be built on trust and once that’s gone, there’s no way forward."
Following their shock split, Van Outen has since moved on.
She is happier than ever with new love Jimmy, sharing several snaps from their trip abroad on Instagram.
