Denise van Outen has confirmed who will be replacing her ex Eddie Boxshall on Celebrity Gogglebox.
The pair went their separate ways after she accused him of cheating on her and messaging other women - something which he recently admitted to - and now it has been revealed who will be replacing him on the Channel 4 show.
Denise usually sat alongside her then-boyfriend Eddie to give their verdict on the latest television shows, but after the pair decided to go their separate ways, Denise has been on the look out for a new person to join her on the sofa.
It has now been revealed that Blue's Duncan James - and a good friend of Denise's - will join her on the sofa.
"Can't wait to start filming @c4gogglebox with my bestie @vanouten_denise," Duncan shared on his Instagram story.
Denise reposted his story and added a love heart, as she confirmed for fans that she would be joined by the Blue singer on the celebrity version of the Channel 4 show for the foreseeable future.
During an interview over the weekend, Eddie admitted to sending 20 sex texts behind Denise's back.
Explaining that he had made a "mistake" by sending sexual texts to someone else, he admitted he was "deeply sorry" and feels "ashamed" of his behaviour. He admitted to the 20 messages and said they were sent on a single night after a few drinks.
He also said he "deeply regrets that he sent those messages" and "hurt Denise".
The pair have been good friends for some time now.
"Denise and Duncan have been pals since they both shot to fame in the late Nineties and he has been helping her through her painful break-up this year," a source told The Sun, "As bezzies who share a similarly outrageous sense of humour, they have the perfect chemistry to deliver some laughs as they survey TV shows.
"Just a few months ago they were performing together at Proud Cabaret. She was wearing a mini dress while he donned a leather corset and fishnet stockings, though they’ll probably be wearing something a little more comfortable when they share the sofa."
