Demons declare Petracca fit for AFL final

Christian Petracca AFL Demons Simon Goodwin Melbourne Brisbane

Melbourne coach Simon Goodwin has declared Norm Smith medallist Christian Petracca a certain starter for the Demons' AFL semi-final against the Brisbane Lions.

The star midfielder is dealing with a hairline fracture in his leg and a corked calf, but he has been named for Friday night's clash at the MCG in an unchanged line-up.

"He's 100 per cent playing," Goodwin said of Petracca on Thursday.
