Recent statements from Montana Sen. Jon Tester and California Rep. Jim Costa have added to the growing chorus of Democrats urging President Joe Biden not to seek re-election.

Sen. Tester, known as one of the most vulnerable Democrats facing re-election, expressed his perspective on the matter. He acknowledged his past collaborations with President Biden for the benefit of Montana but emphasized his belief that it is time for a change. Tester stated, 'I appreciate his commitment to public service and our country, but I believe President Biden should not seek re-election to another term.'

Democrats need to unite and deliver their strongest team to the American people in this election.'

Costa, who secured his 2022 election victory with 53% of the vote, emphasized the need for a cohesive and robust Democratic team to present to voters.
