The Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) made endorsements on 26 measures that made the ballot in 2026. This includes 22 on the ballot on November 3, 2026, and four on the ballot on other election dates. This includes measures endorsed by local chapters of the DSA. Nineteen of these measures are statewide measures, while seven are local.
The Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) is the largest socialist organization in the United States. The DSA website describes itself as, "the largest socialist organization in the United States because we’re a member-driven mass organization. We believe that working people should run both the economy and civil society, and we show our commitment to this principle by being an organization of, by, and for the working class." As of October 2026, DSA claimed to have more than 100,000 members and affiliate chapters in all 50 states.
Of the 26 measures on the ballot in 2026, California measures held the largest concentration: nine of the 26 measures, or 35%, were measures in California. This includes both local and statewide measures. Other top states included Oklahoma, Virginia, and Washington, where DSA chapters endorsed three measures in each.
