Incumbent Rep. Dina Titus (D), Carrie Buck (R), Steven St John (No Political Party), and Bobby Khan (No Political Party) are running in the general election for Nevada's 1st Congressional District on Nov. 3, 2026. Titus and Buck lead in noteworthy endorsements, fundraising, and media attention.
The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) identified it as a target district and named Buck to its MAGA Majority program, which provides support to candidates in Democratic-held or open districts. The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) named Titus to its Frontline program, which provides support to Democratic incumbents in competitive districts.
According to The Cook Political Report's Matthew Klein, "Buck, a former English-as-a-second-language teacher, has kept pace with Titus in fundraising and has a compelling story as an educator who turned a struggling Henderson elementary school around. But Democrats cracked the Las Vegas Valley in redistricting to keep this seat from flipping, and Titus was reelected by eight points in 2024 even as Trump made inroads here."
