Though mid-century design has never really fallen out of style since its popularization in the 1940s, there is no denying that it's topping trend lists again in 2023.
Of course, mid-century modern homes' pared-back, high-end functionality means its popularity will probably always endure with homeowners – even 80 years on from the work of George Nelson and Herman Miller. However, we'd also argue that because it's so easy to pair with contemporary interior design trends, interest in the look is unlikely to wane any time soon.
