The Chicago Bulls went into their game on Wednesday night looking to bounce back after a brutal loss to the Milwaukee Bucks. They were taking on the Sacramento Kings, who are fighting to remain in the playoff race in a tightly-contested Western Conference. In the third quarter, the Bulls were down by as many as 22 points, but they weren’t done fighting.
DeMar DeRozan poured in 19 fourth-quarter points, and the Bulls took home a win, coming all the way back after getting dominated for the majority of the contest. But DeRozan wasn’t the only guy who helped lead the way, as Coby White scored a career-high 37 points.
After the game, DeRozan gave a ton of credit to White for his performance. (H/t Julia Poe of the Chicago Tribune)
“His poise is there and he wants those moments even more,” DeRozan said. “Once you have that poise and want it more, outcomes like he has tonight happen more often.”
Having two guys like White and DeRozan who can come up big in the clutch is great for the Bulls.
