The individual accolades just keep on coming for DeMar DeRozan.
In his 13th season in the NBA, DeRozan is playing his best basketball, as he’s helped lead the Chicago Bulls to one of the best records in the Eastern Conference and supplanted himself as an MVP candidate.
On Thursday, the league announced that DeRozan had been named the Kia NBA Eastern Conference Player of the Month for games played in February.

In February, DeRozan averaged 34.2 points. 6.2 rebounds, and 5.2 assists as the Bulls had a record of 8-5. Deebo played a number of those games without his running mate Zach LaVine, who missed some time with a knee injury prior to the All-Star break.
DeRozan went eight-straight games of scoring 35+ points, which put him in elite company, becoming only the 7th player in NBA history to do so.
This marks the fourth time in his career that DeRozan has won Player of the Month honors, paired with being a 14-time Player of the Week winner, including three times this season.
