Chocolate and cocoa lovers have until Sunday to dive into the world of cocoa and enjoy great items from popular cafés during "Thailand Craft Cocoa 2023", which is running at the Eden Zone, 1st floor of CentralWorld, Ratchadamri Road.
Hailed as Bangkok's largest craft cocoa festival, it features single-origin cocoa products from plantations in 14 provinces including Chiang Rai, Lamphun, Tak, Phrae, Phetchabun, Surin, Chanthaburi, Chon Buri, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Surat Thani and Ratchaburi.
This is a chance to please your taste buds with chocolate drinks and bars, craft sodas, bakery items, snacks, ice cream, chocolate ingredients and cocoa juices as well as signature craft cocoa from famous shops.
They include Agtron, Boo Chocolate, DARQ, Chocoholic, Choc-a-dii, Infinite Cacao, Kawa, Kokolatier, ODE, Plearn Chocolate, Rose Cocoa Garden, The Craft, Tarm Chocolate and Noir Craft Chocolate.
Highlights include Cacao Journey, a cocoa omakase by Tiphakon "Kathi" Bowonnawarak, Thailand's first chocorista champion from the Grand Cacao Championship 2021; and King of Thangkwian, a signature drink by Arm, winner of the Chocorista Championship 2022.
Presented for the first time at the event is a craft cocoa bar where chocorista champions take turns to serve their signature creations. They include a chocolate drink course by Khom Chocolate House tomorrow, a full-course chocolate table by Fair Chocolate on Thursday and Friday, chocolate and wine pairing by Shabar on Saturday, and a champion menu from the Thailand XOCO Homebrewer Competition 2023 on Sunday.
Besides workshops showing how to make easy homemade chocolate and cocoa drinks, the event also brings together raw materials, equipment and study classes for those interested in starting a craft cocoa business.
