Delta Air Lines is giving its planes a brand-new look. The Atlanta-based carrier has unveiled a nose-to-tail redesign of its cabin interiors, which will update the jets with everything from improved lighting to more natural colors on seats.
The upgrade comes as Delta closes in on its 100th anniversary. The first upgraded interior will take off this fall in a narrow-body Boeing 757 aircraft that will begin flying on domestic and short haul international routes. A second plane, focusing on long-haul international flights will show off the new design next year, but over the next few years, Delta plans to roll it out across more planes.
