Deliveroo has partnered with Co-op to create a ‘festival essentials hub’ to make it easier rfor evellers to grab any essentials they may have forgotten to pack. A study of 1,000 UK festival-goers revealed that nine in 10 had resorted to borrowing essential items from a stranger, with toilet paper being the most common request.
This followed by suncream (24 per cent) and painkillers (22 per cent, with others asking to 'borrow' chewing gum, tea or coffee and even a Pot Noodle. The new ‘festival essentials hub’ brings together the most popular grocery items – chosen by UK festival goers – into one place to make it easier and more convenient to order via Co-op on Deliveroo.
Last-minute shoppers and those about to head off for a festival can have items delivered to their home in as little as 20 minutes. Co-op is the supermarket on the Deliveroo app with more than 1,000 stores in communities in towns, villages and cities across the UK.
