Heavy rains lashed several parts of Delhi on Friday, prompting IndiGo and Air India to issue a travel advisory as bad weather impacts flight operations.
"Bad weather over Delhi has impacted flight schedules. We are closely monitoring the weather and doing our best to get you where you need to be, safely and smoothly," IndiGo said.

The airline urged passengers to check their flight status befor leaving for the airport, and allow for additional travel time, as road conditions may be slower than usual.
Flight operations to and from Delhi may be affected due to adverse weather conditions today, Air India said in a passenger advisory.
At least 11 flights were diverted at the Delhi airport on Friday due to bad weather conditions, an official said. 5 flights were diverted to Jaipur, 4 flights to Lucknow, and 1 flight each to to Ahmedabad and Chandigarh.
The diversions happened between 3.30 pm and 5 pm, the official added.
Heavy waterlogging was witnessed at Indira Gandhi International Airport after heavy rainfall.
