As Delhi continues to reel under intense summer heat, several areas in the Patel Nagar Assembly constituency are facing a severe water crisis, forcing residents to queue for hours and depend on water tankers for their daily needs.
Neighbourhoods such as Baljit Nagar, Nehru Nagar, Gulshan Chowk, Holi Chowk and Punjabi Basti are among the worst affected. Residents say that despite the installation of water pipelines, many households are still not receiving a regular piped water supply.
