A section of teachers of Delhi University (DU) criticised Aditi Mahavidyalaya and Bhagini Nivedita College—two off-campus affiliated colleges—for opening admissions based on Class 12 marks instead of following the university’s Common University Entrance Test (CUET) score based admisssion mandate, saying that the move has effectively created a parallel admission route during the ongoing admission cycle.
The two colleges have reverted from the centralised Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) process to the pre-CUET admission model by issuing application forms directly. Students have been invited to apply to the colleges, preparing their own merit lists based on Class 12 marks.
