NEW DELHI: A 35-year-old woman who was allegedly raped by two men and was left bleeding outside the Ghazipur poultry market, underwent another surgery last week. The incident took place in March and even after three months, police have failed to make an arrest in the case.
An official privy to the investigation said: “The woman also hasn’t been cooperative, she has not been able to tell us the location or the route taken by the accused. We checked all the cameras around the area and even traced several auto-rickshaws and even questioned them. We even made a possible sketch of the accused with great difficulty as the woman could not tell much but couldn’t find a possible match for it. Our teams are still working on the case and are hopeful we will crack it.”
