NEW DELHI: Lieutenant governor VK Saxena on Monday said the “many irregularities of serious nature” pointed out by the Comptroller and Auditor General in the accounts and finances of Delhi government required “urgent attention”.
In a letter to chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, Saxena questioned the “inordinate delay” in tabling of four CAG reports from 2017 to 2021 and asked him to “refrain from such a practice” to avoid “wastage of public money”.
