Delhi LG 'shocked' to find destitute defecating near Yamuna

NEW DELHI: During a late-night visit to shelter homes in Delhi, lieutenant governor VK Saxena was shocked to find that the lack of toilets and sufficient space was forcing many individuals to defecate along Yamuna river and sleep on the pavements.

Saxena on Friday night visited the shelter home near Kashmere Gate and spoke to occupants in and around the shelters.
