Delhi: How EDMC technology park may ease pressure on landfills

EDMC East Delhi Municipal Corporation New Delhi

NEW DELHI: East Delhi Municipal Corporation inaugurated its first technology park at New Jafrabad on Saturday for the decentralised processing solid and liquid waste through five technologies.

The focus of the project is on achieving zero garbage dumping at sanitary landfills and treating varied waste at a single place. The plant was inaugurated by MP Manoj Tiwari and EDMC mayor Shyam Sunder Agarwal.
