NEW DELHI: As the positivity rate has been increasing in Delhi and a few cases have been reported in schools as well, chief minister Arvind Kejriwal said his government was monitoring the situation and would issue a standard operating procedure (SOP) for schools, if needed. He also said “there was no need to panic” as the hospitalisation related to the novel coronavirus infection had not increased.
Deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia said he had got reports from a few schools in the past few days about students getting infected. The directorate of education (DoE) will issue a detailed guideline to the schools on Friday, the education minister said.
