Delhi government issued instructions regarding the ban. Request for cooperation from all Delhiites," Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai posted on X. The minister also shared a notice issued by the Delhi pollution board regarding the ban.

The letter, addressed to the Commissioner of Police, directed the Delhi Police to implement the ban on firecrackers.

In the last week of September, Gopal Rai said the ban on firecrackers would be enforced once a notification was issued.
