Delhi: Eat, pray, travel: ‘Satvik’ food at Nizamuddin railway station

NEW DELHI: Passengers boarding a train from Delhi’s Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station can now place an order for ‘satvik’ vegetable biryani or vegetable dim sums online. Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) will be offering satvik vegetarian food straight from Govinda’s Restaurant at International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) temple in Delhi.

IRCTC, a central public sector enterprise under the ministry of railways, said in a statement on Friday that passengers can now leave their worries about satvik food while travelling by train, as they would be able to order it through e-catering services from Govinda’s Restaurant during their journey from the Hazrat Nizamuddin station.
