A 29-year-old driver, Daljeet Singh, died after he and his friends were allegedly assaulted by a club manager, the manager’s wife and bouncers following an altercation at a nightclub in north Delhi’s Inderlok in the early hours of October 11. The dispute reportedly began when beer spilled on the manager’s wife, who was celebrating her birthday at the venue on New Rohtak Road.
According to TOI, Daljeet and his friends were allegedly beaten by club staff during the confrontation. Although the group returned home after the incident, Daljeet’s health deteriorated hours later. He was taken to a hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Police arrested five people in connection with the case and registered a murder FIR.
