NEW DELHI: The work on the integrated transit corridor project at Pragati Maidan will be completed by the second week of May, L.C. Goyal, chairman and managing director, Indian Trade Promotion Organisation, told TOI on Friday. The traffic decongestion component is an integral part of the redevelopment of the trade fair grounds.
“The project to decongest traffic in and around Pragati Maidan was an integral part of the main project, primarily because there was no point in spending money on the redevelopment without improved access to the new complex,” said Goyal.
