A Greater Manchester pub boss has 'apologised to absolutely nobody' over their 'no snowflakes' job advert.
The family-run boozer in Golborne, on the border of Wigan and Warrington, divided opinion with their billboard for a new chef. Queen Anne landlord Christopher Darnbrough told the Manchester Evening News they they've been struggling with 'flaky employees'.
The advert received a mixed reception - from 'snowflakes are taking over the world' to 'I genuinely hope you find no one'. Now they have posted a message to anyone offended by the billboard.

It read: "Make of it what you will, it was meant in good humour but we’d like to take this opportunity to apologise to absolutely nobody. If you are offend (Sic) by this you’ve kind of proved our point for us and you’re probably better off going somewhere else.
The billboard photo was posted on Monday. In a post on the pub's Facebook page, they said: "We are still looking for chefs to join our busy kitchen team.
"We are still looking for chefs to join our busy kitchen team. So if you want to be involved with serving and making the best homemade food that golborne (Sic) has to offer, are hardworking and not a snowflake pop in and have a chat with us or drop us a message."
The Bridge Street boozer advertised itself as a 'small family run free house in the north of England that prides ourselves in serving good beer and great food'. Landlord, Christopher explained the reasons behind the ad.
'Most people have seen the funny side'
Speaking to the MEN, he said: "Since the lockdown we have had a lot of flaky people who don't want to work and just breeze in and out, constantly wanting time off. Most people have seen the funny side."
In July, Liam Brown revealed how being dubbed a 'snowflake' on Netflix's new show changed his life.
Liam, 22, who lives in Manchester, was one of the 10 people who got the shock of their lives when they were whisked off to the Lake District and taught survival tips in the wilderness with no phone signal.
He said: “I thought I was going on to Geordie Shore or Big Brother, something really cool. So what he ended up starring in was dramatically different."
