Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard has been ridiculed online by former West Ham and current England team mate Declan Rice.
Lingard, who is currently away training in Dubai during the winter break, posted a video of him staying sharp during the current international break.
The 29-year-old has been subjected to a whole host of speculation regarding his future at Old Trafford, with Newcastle thought to be keen on agreeing a loan move until the end of the season.
Posting to Instagram on Thursday, the United midfielder shared the video of him polishing up his shooting skills, alongside the caption: “Working”.
Rice was however quick to question Lingard’s opposition in between the sticks, commenting: “The keeper lost his hands?”
The West Ham stalwart has also been subject to recent speculation surrounding his future, with both Chelsea and United keen on his services.
Rice, 23, has enjoyed a meteoric rise since bursting onto the scene in 2017 and was arguably one of England's best performers at last summers Euro 2020 Championship.
With Lingard highly rated by West Ham boss David Moyes, the pair seemingly hit it off during the United midfielder's loan spell at the London Stadium last season.
Battling it out for a top four finish this season, both United and West Ham still involved in the knockout stages of the Champions League and Europa League respectively, with European football set to return next month.
