West Ham United and the rest of their Premier League rivals now know what their squads will look like for the rest of the season.
On Tuesday night, the January window closed, with West Ham spending £12million on striker Danny Ings, their only senior signing of the winter window.
While two players arrived, including young centre-back Luizao, nine players left the club, three on loan and six more permanently, recouping over half of their outlay for Ings with Craig Dawson, Harrison Ashby, Manny Longelo and Darren Randolph among those sold by West Ham.

In the world of transfers, attention will soon turn towards the summer window and with no signings or sales allowed now until the summer window reopens, here are seven possible West Ham moves that could take place later this year.
Declan Rice
The future of Hammers captain Declan Rice has been highly speculated about for some time, with Arsenal and Chelsea among the clubs most linked with interest in the England star.
Rice’s contract is currently set to expire at the end of the 2023/24 season, meaning that he is only under contract for 12 months once the window reopens. There is an option on his contract, however, which can be triggered to extend his deal by an additional 12 months.
Following comments made at the 2022 World Cup in which he hinted at wanting to play Champions League football, Rice’s future is set to be the saga of the summer, with a move seeming more likely to happen than not.
West Ham will want to keep hold of Rice for as long as possible, but if an appropriate offer comes in for the 24-year-old, it may be hard not to cash in before the shortening of his contract quickly sees his transfer value diminish.
Michail Antonio
Due to a lack of game time this season, striker Michail Antonio has not hid the fact he was open to leaving West Ham in January, with Everton, Wolverhampton Wanderers and clubs in Major League Soccer all linked.
Due to knee injuries to Gianluca Scamacca and Danny Ings, Antonio has been given a start in each of the last two games and has started to find better form in front of goal.
However, should his game time struggles return once his striking rivals are back fit, it could lead to Antonio wanting to move on at the end of the season.
Lukasz Fabianski
Goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski is one of four senior players whose current contracts are set to expire at the end of the season.
The Polish goalkeeper is one of only three players to have started every Premier League game this term alongside Rice and Jarrod Bowen and is largely having a good season.
West Ham do have an option to extend his contract by 12 months, but after buying Alphonse Areola permanently, West Ham have a decision to make in terms of whether they renew Fabianski’s deal or stick their faith in Areola as the club’s first-choice goalkeeper long-term.
Vladimir Coufal
Right-back Vladimir Coufal has had a mixed campaign for the Hammers but since the return from the 2022 World Cup, has put together an improved run of performances, made the right wing-back spot his own ahead of Ben Johnson.
Coufal was linked with interest from Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen prior to the January transfer window opening, but a return to first-team action saw those links die down.
West Ham do have an option to extend his contract by two years, should they wish to and his improved performances of late would only add to more work to do in the summer, if they parted ways with him.
Manuel Lanzini
Argentine midfielder Manuel Lanzini has found game time very hard to come by throughout this season.
Of his 15 appearances in all competitions this season, he has started ten games, but only one of them has come in the Premier League, with the South American well down in the pecking order at present.
Lanzini’s contract is set to expire at the end of June and while like Coufal, there is a two-year extension offer in his deal, unless his game time significantly improves, a departure could well be on the cards.
Angelo Ogbonna
Italian centre-back Angelo Ogbonna is the only member of the out-of-contract quartet whose deal is currently set to expire at the end of the campaign.
The former Juventus man has been linked with interest from Italian sides Lecce and Frosinone, as well as a reunion with ex-Hammers midfielder Dimitri Payet at Marseille.
Ogbonna has recently got himself back in West Ham’s best 11, partly due to the switch to a 3-4-3 formation, but the defender will have turned 35 by the time the season ends, leaving West Ham with a decision to make.
Sean Moore
One potential incoming player to the academy could be that of Northern Ireland youth international Sean Moore from Cliftonville.
The Hammers have been monitoring the 17-year-old’s progress and football.london understands that a potential move is being considered for the versatile teenager, who can play as a full-back and as a winger.
West Ham have a history with making signings of young prospects from Northern Ireland, with Callum Marshall, Michael Forbes and Patrick Kelly all joining the club in recent years.
