PRAYAGRAJ: The Allahabad high court has ruled that after the death of a government employee, his sister cannot be recruited on compassionate ground if the wife of the deceased is alive and has claimed appointment.
The petitioner, Kumari Mohani, sister of a deceased employee, had sought the court’s direction to the authorities concerned to consider her claim for appointment on compassionate ground.
