Debris scattered across road after crash involving motorbike

Debris was scattered across the road after a motorbike was involved in a crash.

Merseyside Police was called to Picton Road, Wavertree at 7.47pm today, Monday, November 28 following reports of a crash between a blue Ford car and a black Yamaha motorbike near the First Choice Fish & Chips Takeaway.

The ECHO understands two North West Ambulance Service ambulances also attended the scene where they treated the motorbike rider. A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said the rider was taken to hospital "to be assessed".
