Mary 'Eileen' Lockett, 88, passed away peacefully at her most recent home in Llangollen, North Wales on January 14, 2023. Previously a lifetime resident of Stockport, Eileen (also known as Rosie) attended St Joseph's school and Stockport Commercial School.
She worked in administration her whole life, eventually retiring as the Records Officer for Stockport College. A talented singer, who performed across the Northwest, Rosie also sang in choirs and choruses.
Her primary love was the Ladies Association of British Barbershop Singing (LABBS) where she was a founding member of both The Liberty Belles and The Cheshire Chord Company. She achieved amazing success, winning a national title singing lead in Quadraphonic Quartet and national and international titles with Cheshire Chord Company chorus.
Rosie was also the Lead Section Leader and Assistant Musical Director. Once she retired from competing, Rosie was an active coach in barbershop circles; she also directed the church choir at St Mary's in the Market Place.
Eileen is survived by her four children, Ann (David), Christopher (Francine), Anthony (Wayne) and Catherine (Kevin). Also surviving her are her six grandchildren and extended family.
A requiem mass will be held at St Joseph's RC Church, Tatton St, St Petersgate, Stockport, SK1 1 EJ on Monday, Feb 6th at 12pm. She will be laid to rest privately at a later date. A reception will follow where we hope there will be lots of singing! Family flowers only. Donation to Cancer Research.

Philip, a beloved husband passed away on 10 January 2023. Always in the hearts of his loving wife Margaret, daughters Joanne, Nicola, Victoria and his deceased son Stephen and their families.
Alan sadly passed away peacefully in Rochdale Infirmary on Monday 2nd Jan 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He leaves behind his beloved Wife Vivien and his children Aaron and Lisa, Treasured Stepfather, Granddad, Great Granddad and a friend to many, he will be sadly missed by all his loving family and friends.

Of Northenden, sadly passed away in hospital on 11th January 2023. Peter was a loving Husband to Christine for fifty five years, and a much loved Dad to Chris & Nick. Treasured Grandad of Luca and Ethan and also a dear Father-in-law to Safia and Julia.
