Nvidia (NVDA) has long been the driving force behind the artificial intelligence (AI) boom, but its ambitions now reach far beyond supplying the chips that power it. The company is moving deeper into semiconductor design and manufacturing, and SEMICON West 2026 offers a timely glimpse into how this expanding role could create fresh growth opportunities.
Taking place from Tuesday, Oct. 13 to Thursday, Oct. 15 at San Francisco’s Moscone Center, SEMICON West will bring together chipmakers, equipment suppliers, materials companies, and electronic design automation (EDA) providers. Nvidia’s turn in the spotlight comes on Oct. 13, when Tim Costa, VP and GM of Industrial and Computational Engineering, delivers the CEO Summit keynote, “The Next Generation of Chips Starts With AI.”
