During this year's Super Bowl, fans were treated to the highly anticipated trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine. While the trailer itself left some surprises for the film, it did reveal that a familiar face from the X-Men universe would be making an appearance. This was subsequently confirmed by actor Aaron Stanford, who portrayed John Allerdyce, also known as Pyro, in previous X-Men films.
Stanford took to his Instagram after the trailer's release to share a picture of himself, presumably from the set of Deadpool & Wolverine. In the image, he can be seen wearing the same costume as seen in the trailer, along with some makeup to give him a more rugged appearance. Accompanying the picture, Stanford wrote, 'Welly welly welly well. If it isn't our old Droogie Pyro... #deadpool3 #pyrosback.' This confirmation has excited fans and sparked speculation about Pyro's role in the upcoming film.
