Disney's CEO Bob Iger has expressed high expectations for the upcoming film Deadpool and Wolverine, which is set to feature Hugh Jackman's return as Logan in a multiversal adventure. Iger anticipates that the movie will be one of the most successful Marvel films in recent memory, emphasizing his belief that quality content trumps superhero fatigue.

Due to various factors, including industry strikes and a revised release strategy, Deadpool and Wolverine is the sole MCU production slated for 2024, with other projects pushed to 2025. Notably, this schedule does not include Sony's non-Spider-Man films such as Madame Web, Kraven, and Venom 3.
