'Deadpool And Wolverine' secures China release; Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman's 'R' rated movie likely to face censorship cuts

In a first, Beijing's film regulators have approved the highly anticipated 'Deadpool And Wolverine', starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, for its release in China, simultaneously with its release in North America on July 26.

This marks the first film in the superhero franchise that has been granted permission to launch concurrently in both markets. Disney announced the news on Monday through Marvel’s Chinese social media accounts, sparking excitement among fans. The announcement comes as a surprise as the third part of the franchise was given an 'R' rating just last week.
