Recent devastating flash floods and storms in southern Tennessee have claimed the lives of three individuals, including a child tragically killed when a tree fell on their car. Additionally, one man is currently reported missing in the aftermath of the severe weather event.
The calamitous weather conditions have primarily affected the city of Chattanooga, where over six inches of rain poured down in just a single day. The unprecedented rainfall amounts experienced in such a short timeframe far exceeded the typical monthly average for the region, leading to widespread flooding and chaos.
