The family of a Glasgow hero who passed away suddenly has been left devastated after his medals and uniforms were binned when a housing association was wrongly told he had no next of kin.
John Wannop's family were left heartbroken after the dad of two died from a heart condition at just 46-years-old.
But they couldn't believe their eyes when they appeared to collect his belongings and found his home had been emptied - with police saying that John had no family, reports the Daily Record.
