Delhi Capitals' nine-run defeat against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Friday kept them at rock bottom of the IPL 2023 points table, after they came close to the 198-run target but imploded once Mitchell Marsh fell. However, the Australian all-rounder defended DC's inexperienced Indian batters who failed to deliver.
In a sensational all-round effort, Marsh scalped four wickets and then struck a breezy 39-ball 63 but once he was dismissed, the DC run-chase fell apart.
