Dawn Ward's daughter Taylor pregnant with first child with Man City star after wedding

Dawn Ward is set to welcome another grandchild into the world.

Daughter Taylor Ward has confirmed she is expecting her first child with husband Riyad Mahrez.

The mum-to-be, 23, and Manchester City ace Riyad, 30, took to Instagram to break the news while enjoying a Maldives getaway.

A host of celebrities and fans congratulated the pair on their happy news in the comment section - including Molly-Mae Hague and fellow pregnant star Olivia Bowden.

In the announcement snap shared on Sunday night, the parents-to-be beamed on the beach with a string of ultrasound pictures - just weeks after it was reported the pair had tied the knot in secret.

Taylor's proudly showed off her growing bump in a white one-piece swimming costume, as footballer Riyad cradled her stomach.

Taylor, who is one of Real Housewives Of Cheshire star Dawn's four children, received a slew of well-wishes underneath her pregnancy reveal on Instagram.

Mum-of-one Charlotte Dawnson wrote: "This is amazing", while former X Factor star Rebecca Ferguson wrote: "Congratulations Taylor beautiful news xxx".

Taylor's big sister Darby Ward - who gave birth to her first child last year - quipped: "So so so so happy for you guys!!!!! Skyes getting a baby cousin can’t wait!!"

Taylor and Riyad's pregnancy announcement comes after last month's confirmation they had "secretly married" late last year.

According to The Sun, the parents-to-be tied the knot at a Muslim ceremony known as the Nikah and signed a contract to ensure they were legally married under Islamic law, after the footballer popped the question with a £400,000 ring.

Prior to announcing her pregnancy, Taylor revealed she had married the Algeria national team's captain in an Instagram Story posted in January.

Newly-wed Taylor explain the happy couple were now looking to have another ceremony in the UK to make their marriage legal back home.

Speaking to The Sun at the time, a source confirmed that Algeria-born Riyad and Taylor "are now legally married under Islamic law following their ceremony late last year".

"For them as a couple it was important to follow the traditions of his religion," they told the publication.

"The ceremony was short but sweet and has started them on their path to their second wedding which is very much going to be the main event. Taylor and Riyad are so excited and are very much in love."

The happy couple's nuptials come after the sports star popped the question during a lavish sun-soaked trip to Mykonos last summer.

Sharing the news with her Instagram followers in July, Taylor posted two loved-up snaps and captioned the update: "Here's to a lifetime of us."

She added: "There's no one I'd rather do this life with, here's to a lifetime of us. Can't wait to grow old together, btw I said YES! I Love You."

Prior to finding love with Taylor, Riyad was previously married for six years to Rita Johal, whom he shares two daughters.
