NEW DELHI: David Warner created history on Wednesday by surpassing the iconic Australian batsman and former captain Ricky Ponting to claim the record for the most centuries by an Australian batter in the ICC World Cup.

Warner achieved this feat during his team's World Cup 2023 match against the Netherlands at Delhi's Arun Jaitley Stadium.
