David O'Leary says Leeds United's decision to part ways with Javi Gracia at this stage of the season stinks of 'desperation'.
Gracia is on the verge of being sacked after just 10 weeks at the helm, and Leeds are in talks with Sam Allardyce over becoming his successor.
The Spaniard has won just three out of his 11 league games at Leeds, who currently sit 17th and are only separated from the relegation zone on goal difference.

Leeds have already announced the departure of sporting director Victor Orta and ex-Whites defender and manager O'Leary has described their situation as a "mess".
"I think when you start doing things like this with four games to go it's desperate really," O'Leary told talkSPORT.
"When you make that change with four games to go, like you've seen at other clubs, you've got to get it right. With four games to go because of the mess they're in, it's desperate really. Who knows what can happen."
