David Moyes says Everton want to take positive momentum into their Europa Conference League final, and therefore won't be taking it easy on the final day of the Premier League season against Leicester City.
That offers hope to Leeds United who, as well as beating Tottenham, will need both the Foxes and Everton to drop points on the final day if they are to avoid relegation. As far as Everton are concerned, defeat at home to Bournemouth would be preferable, because a draw for Sean Dyche's side would leave Leeds needing to beat Spurs by three goals or more.
But with West Ham looking ahead to a Europa Conference League final with Fiorentina ten days after their final league game, Whites fans could have been forgiven for being concerned that the Hammers would have been taking the Leicester game, with little at stake for them, easy.

But speaking his pre-match press conference, Moyes quashed any suggestion, saying: "I don’t see it that way [tough to be motivated for it]. I take every game one at a time, that’s all we can ever do. It’s a chance to get league place higher up and we’re all well aware of the value of that in the Premier League.
"If you’d given me this position a few weeks ago I’d have snapped your hand off because we go into the last day without any real problems and more importantly we go into it knowing we’ve got a cup final in a week or so’s time..
"We want everybody fresh but we want them all able and prepared and we don’t want the gap in time to be too long between the games. All those things are coming into our thinking. We want to keep playing as well as we have. We’ve improved greatly in the last month or so, had a great victory last weekend and a great win in Alkmaar as well. We want to try and keep that run going.
"I'm glad it’s not us in the situation but we have to go and do our job and our job is to get another win and try and finish a bit higher up the league. If we could, it would be important for us. We’re preparing ourselves for a final and we need to get everyone in the right condition for that."
